Charlie’s creative personality shines through not only in her tattoo work, but also in the experience she creates for every client. About the Artist: Charlie

Charlie’s tattoo journey began behind the front desk. Before becoming a tattoo artist, she worked reception across multiple tattoo studios, gaining valuable insight into how studios run, how artists work, and what clients need to feel comfortable.

That mix of studio experience, organisation, client care, and creative ambition has helped shape the way Charlie works today.

Charlie’s Favourite Tattoo Products

Charlie describes herself as a girly girl and loves working with an all-pink tattoo setup. Since discovering Tattoo Boutique UK, she was excited to find a wider range of pink products that matched her aesthetic.

We totally get Charlie. For artists who love adding a fun and unique touch to every session, mixing different colours, shapes, and styles is such an exciting way to show personality. It makes the whole experience feel extra special, and we absolutely love it.

Her current favourites are Biotat Blush Numbing Tattoo Glide. Charlie likes that it looks beautiful on the station and smells great, but the real reason it has become part of her setup is how it feels during appointments. She regularly asks clients how their skin feels while she works, and she has found that the glide helps soothe the skin, reduce redness, and support a smoother tattooing process without feeling too greasy or leaving heavy residue.

Another favourite is Proton Pink Stencil Primer. After using another stencil product for years, Charlie tried Proton and was impressed by its staying power. It remains sticky during application, but once dry, the stencil stays firmly in place. She has used it for all-day sessions, large pieces such as full backs, and smaller multi-placement projects where designs are pre-stencilled before tattooing begins.

Charlie also loves Pink Heart Silicone Ink Cups. They add a fun detail to the workstation, especially when filled with colour. Beyond the look, the silicone material helps the cups stay in place, reducing the risk of spills. It can also help reduce needle damage or blunting if the needle accidentally catches the side of the cup.
